FROM FUTURE has made it its main objective to create pieces that respect the environment. Thus, we select materials from sustainable sources. Our cashmere comes from the fur of goats raised in Inner Mongolia, in the Gobi Desert, a region renowned for the production of this noble and natural fiber.
As animal welfare is one of our primary commitments, the goatherds harvest the cashmere using traditional and respectful methods. The long, fine fibers that make up our cashmere sweaters are taken from the winter coat of Capra Hircus goats. For this, a brushing technique is used. This has the advantage of being cruelty-free for the animal, unlike mowing, which is a great source of stress for the goat.
In order to produce the highest quality 100% cashmere, we source the longest, finest and whitest fibers possible. Then comes the knitting, an essential step.
