CASHMERE CARE GUIDE
HAND WASHING YOUR CASHMERE
1/ Hand washing is strongly recommended for cashmere to avoid collisions with the drum and heat sources during washing and drying. Wash your cashmere in cold water (20° max). Treat your cashmere gently with circular movements and without twisting or rubbing the material. Rinse with clean water, applying gentle pressure.
2/ Use a special wool detergent without fabric softener and in small quantities.
3/ Dry flat on a towel, so that the cashmere returns to its original shape and keep it out of the sun.
4/ If ironing is needed, a little bit of steam at low temperature is enough.
5/ Dry cleaning is not recommended to preserve the fiber over the long term.
STORAGE TIP: Always store your cashmere garments in a cool, dry place to protect them from moths. For added protection, slip them into a breathable cotton bag or garment bag, and use cedar balls.
