1/ We do not recommend machine washing your cashmere and strongly recommend hand washing to avoid any friction or heat sources because depending on the machine the standards are different even in the wool program.

2/ Use a special wool detergent without fabric softener and in small quantities. Slip your sweater into a mesh laundry bag to protect against friction and snagging. Select a special cold wool program (20° max). Be careful not to mix the colors.

3/ Do not spin in the washing machine or tumble dry. Instead, apply gentle pressure to remove excess water. Then dry it in the open air, flat on a towel, so that it returns to its original shape. Keep it away from the sun.

4/ If ironing is needed, a little bit of low-temperature steam is sufficient.

5/ Dry cleaning is not recommended to preserve the fiber over the long term.

STORAGE TIP: Always store your cashmere clothing in a cool, dry place to protect it from moths. For added protection, slip them into a breathable cotton bag or garment bag, and use cedar balls.
